Mr Jahan is a Chartered Management Accountant (Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants, UK). He has over 35 years of experience in the accountancy profession in the UK and abroad. After graduating from the University of Dhaka, Mr Jahan was trained in a reputable Chartered Accountancy firm in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has worked in the Holy Family Hospital (500 bed teaching hospital) as a Consultant Auditor before joining Avanti Group as Group Manager in Accounts and Finance.

He has spent most of his early career working in the Audit of Sector Corporations & Multinational Companies.   His extensive experience and knowledge from audit and his passionate attitude to serve in the interest of the public have enabled him to rapidly progress as the Director of Finance of established multinational companies.  He specialised in Management Consultancy, Strategic Management and Turnaround Strategy.

He was involved in arranging finance for projects in Asia, Middle East and North Africa. He has experience in working with high profile clients and government projects in Egypt, Tunisia and Bangladesh.

All his life, he has been passionate about his profession and has trained numerous accountancy students in the UK and abroad.
